Airing in December?

Here’s the latest rumor… according to a “Yes” Magazine, TSD will be airing in December.  I don’t know how true this is as I haven’t seen the magazine article myself, but this is the news I’ve received from Niki’s official forum. 

Good News?
This is where I’m not sure if I should be thrilled or not.  December is usually not a time of high ratings as it is the Holiday season and I heard that HK students have exams during this period.  I’m from the US and I have finals in December too (before my winter break). I think it might be better if it aired Spring 2008.  I know some of you will probably disagree with me on this as you’re dying to watch this (I am too!), but if there’s any hope of KN ever working together again (be it another series or whatever), TSD HAS to do well.  TSD actually has pressure to do well in ratings as UTCOL did so well.  As with any ”sequel” there are high expectations.  I don’t even want to imagine what will happen if this series flops.  I hope it won’t turn into another “Dance of Passion” incident.

Another Amy Wong series. She produced “The Ultimate Crime Fighter,” which is currently airing. TSD and TUCF have similar minor cast members as you know producers tend to use the same people.

Another Kevin series. “The Ultimate Crime Fighter” will have just finished airing…would TVB air another one of his series (even though he’s a guest star, his role is pretty important)? Besides, his series haven’t done really well this year. Maybe they should save TSD for next year when his luck is better.

Another Bosco series. “War of In-Laws 2007″ is tentatively scheduled to air December 31st.

Waiting for HD Digital Broadcast. I’m still not 100% sure if this is a HD series. I only know that it was filmed in widescreen, but could it just be like “Steps” and “Drive of Life.” If it is in true HD format then they would have to wait till 2008.

Got insider info that this series is on the list for the first quarter of 2008.

By the way, I’m wondering when TVBI will release issue III of the Programme Highlights.  Seems they have been slacking off this year.
